Anyone here have thoughts on or experience with Venus in Leo? I haven't encountered anyone with this placement, that I know of, until recently (at least not anyone I was close to), but I'm currently seeing two women (it's cool - they know) with Venus in Leo. What really stands out about this is that they're the first people I've been very involved with romantically or sexually, and they both happen to have Venus in the same sign, even though they have different Sun Signs (Virgo and Libra). I'm trying to observe common traits or if there IS something about Venus in Leo that draws me to it, specifically, but haven't done well with this, so far.
I'm a Taurus Sun/Scorpio Moon/Gemini Rising/Aries Mercury/Taurus Venus/Capricorn Mars, if that helps.
Thanks!!

Re: Venus in Leo!
Wed, April 2, 2008 - 12:15 PMWhen Venus in Leo people are in love, they are proud, even boastful. This position of Venus can turn humble Virgo Suns or retiring Cancer Suns into somewhat demanding lovers. Venus in Leo loves to court and be courted, and they need to feel very special. They are warm, generous, and even grand. Though really quite loyal to their partners (remember that love is THE most important thing in Leo's life), they thrive on attention from the opposite sex. Be prepared for their displays: they will tell you about any advances members of the opposite sex make on them. Remember, they're just showing off to you, and it's likely harmless. It's a different story if you do the same, however. That's when you'll hear the lion roar...and, no doubt, you'll want to keep these cats purring. Venus in Leo wants to appear experienced in love, even if they have little or no experience whatsoever!
Venus in Leo men and women have high expectations, but once you know that these expectations revolve only around how much attention you are giving them, you'll see that they are really quite big-hearted about most everything else. They are threatened by a relationship that appears to have settled too much, or one that's lost its spark. They are also threatened by indifferent or impersonal behavior on your part.

Re: Venus in Leo!
Wed, April 2, 2008 - 8:46 PMMy friend Bryan has venus in Leo and he is not only boastful in love but EXTREEMLY protective over anyone he loves even in a non-sexual way. I recentley had a confrontation with another friend of mine and Bryan (who can be violent at times) was affended for me. He was so mad that anyone would speak to me in such a way and he gladly offered to jump the other guy. I, being a Libra rising peace maker, declined his offer but I still thought it was very sweet of him. My sister has the sun and Venus in Leo and she is not shy to talk about who she is interested in.
Over all Venus in Leo types will be proud of their mates and extreemly defensive for them. If you fall your Venus in Leo will be the one to run over and sanitze the wound, patch up your knee, and give you a kiss on the head and a loly pop to ease the pain.

Re: Venus in Leo!
Sun, July 13, 2008 - 12:10 PMThanks, all (belatedly), for your responses!! Some of this is definitely clicking - being protective and proud of loved ones, particularly.
Zane - What are some behaviors, from a partner, that help you feel good (like what do you need from a partner) and what is difficult to deal with? Thanks for offering question-answering!
