I have venus and Mars in the 5th house (not conjunct though) trining my moon (in scorpio). I am passionate, loving, and always infatuated. Especially since Mars is squaring Pluto. Any one else with Venus and Mars in the 5th? How's your love life?

Re: Venus & mars in the 5th
Sun, February 3, 2008 - 8:54 PMI have venus in the 5th in sagittarius conjunct a sag uranus trining my ascendent in cancer/leo (need for independence), mars in capricorn in the sixth squaring my midheaven(can't quite be as assertive as I'd like), and a angular stellium of sun, mercury, saturn, and pluto in scorpio in the fourth house which square my ascendent. My libra moon unfortunately lightens me up a little, which I detest but is apparantly a good thing. I obsess........a LOT. I tend to dominate in certain areas. But too many bad experiences so now I'm holding out (mars in capricorn) for something good. -

Re: Venus & mars in the 5th
Sun, February 17, 2008 - 6:28 PMwell other than having intense emotions especially when it comes to those you care about romantically, a venus and pluto contact is said to increase sex appeal. -

Re: Venus & mars in the 5th
Sat, March 8, 2008 - 9:08 PMWell I don't have Venus and Mars in the 5th, but I can imagine that it would make one an iniator/persuer if you will in relationships. Do you find this to be true? It would also depend on which sign is the ruler of the 5th. I have Venus in the 5th Scorpio, but I also have Jupiter, Mercury, Neptune there as well. My Mars is in 8th Aquarus. With those placements I have found that I can love passionately and totaly and then up and end it all suddenly. I did this a lot in my younger years - where I would love them and then leave - never to speak again. I am not sure which placement would allow for this (still learning astrology). But I was married for 15 years and then I was done. I am hoping that I am not doomed to repeat this again and again. I do like the placement of Venus in my 5th H because it makes for fun and excitment in love relationships. I also have found with many planets in the 5th house there seems to be more childen in a natives life. I have 3 and some "adopted" ones as well. -

Re: Venus & mars in the 5th
Sat, March 8, 2008 - 9:57 PMThe ruler of my 5th house is Aquarius. I have venus in Pisces and Mars in Aquarius in this house. I would say that I am an persuer but in a sneeky way (remember I have the moon in scorpio). I don't want you to think of me as a stalker. I am more like an admirer from afrar. I tend to observe the one that I love and study all of their movements. This leads to fantasy and exageration (venus in pisces) and a cool exterior (mars in Aquarius) that is filled with a rush of passion right under the surface (moon in scorpio).
Though I am very passionate people rarley see this side of me. In fact, I probably come off being cool or noncholant to the object of my affections. -

Yup, me too, I never thought of it that way though! Haha. Mars in Aquarius as well. But then, I enjoy that being done to me (Venus in Aquarius, lol). With a Hades Moon (Pluto2degconjMoon), yup, the passion is right there.
Yes, you have to get to know us Aquarian Mars Scorpio Moon-ish types before you see the passion, indeed. Very apt descriptions, Simone. -

Re: Venus & mars in the 5th
Sat, March 8, 2008 - 10:24 PMthat's not fair! I have been known to use google earth just to check out the objects of my affection. I don't have any planets in the 5th house.
what's up with that? -

This is the maximum depth. Additional responses will not be threaded.
Re: Venus & mars in the 5th
Sat, March 8, 2008 - 10:56 PMMoon in taurus people tend to be very concerned almost like pisces (which is your sun sign so there must be some extra power there). You probably care so much about people that you can't help but check on them, even if it is for your own personal pleasure. -

Re: Venus & mars in the 5th
Fri, March 21, 2008 - 9:09 PMI have both venus and mars conjunct in capricorn - both in the 5th house. I would consider myself passionate in relationships but that I have a pattern of losing interest after a number of years. I was married for 14 years and had 3 children but lost interest in the marriage and got divorced. Then I dated another man passionately believing he was the true love of my life. We broke up after 4 years and again, because I lost interest. It's just odd that I never look back on either of the relationships. I can seemingly walk away from what appears to be love for life yet adore and love my children unconditonally forever. Perhaps because I have a strong Aquarius (Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn) mixed into my chart with Capricorn. My moon is in Cancer which might help explain my strong attachment to my children and all their baby belongings that I can't let go of. I wish I could balance myself out better so that I could handle long-term romantic love without "burning out". -

Re: Venus & mars in the 5th
Sun, March 23, 2008 - 8:46 AMI have a 5th Venus in Aries opposing 11th Saturn in Libra. Good times to be had with that. ;) My mars isn't exactly in opposition of Venus, but it's on the tail end of the 10th in Libra as well...Not sure if, because it's not in an exact aspect, if it has any bearing on my tender Venus. Or not so tender. ;) -
-
Re: Venus & mars in the 5th
Sun, March 23, 2008 - 11:06 AMI would say your Mars "understands" your Venus and they have a simpatico within you because Venus presents in Mars' home style. So your inner man "gets" your inner woman - does that get reflected to you in your outer life? -

Re: Venus & mars in the 5th
Sun, March 23, 2008 - 2:24 PMOh, that was a very clear explanation :). Yes, actually, I don't find a problem with expressing both my feminine and masculine energies. It's either a balance between paying more attention to one than the other at various times, or simply incorporating both.
I work, for instance, with many blue collar, go-to-the-bar-after-work kinds of middle-aged men, and chat with them at their level, trading barbs, cracking jokes, but I still do my hair and wear skirts to the office. ;) But, perhaps because of the strong male energy at work (?), I find that the men intuitively understand me, but it's much more difficult getting along with women. They tend to think I'm 'too honest' or 'too blunt' or 'callous'. Or just too manly (I'm tall, which to many women I've met, means that I hide a penis in my pants- amazon is the most commonly used word). *Shrug* I've embraced this aspect and found some women to be friends with that also are considered 'gruff' or other such things. I tend to like crotchety people the best.
