I really feel a connection with this man...its almost tangible...i think he feels it too. i can tell when we are together; there is just something almost zzzzzz electric...he is a person who needs a LOT of space; i am also a person who needs space; but I don't want to date anyone else and he hasn't promised not to. I haven't either, but i don't want to ASK him not to date anyone else, I want him to come to that conclusion on his own. i would not want someone to ASK that of me, but i would only feel comfy if I came to that conclusion by myself. So, are so much alike that we are worst enemy? or am i just insecure, lol or both?

Venus in Leo!

Anyone here have thoughts on or experience with Venus in Leo? I haven't encountered anyone with this placement, that I know of, until recently (at least not anyone I was close to), but I'm currently seeing two women (it's cool - they know) with Venus in Leo. What really stands out about this is that they're the first people I've been very involved with romantically or sexually, and they both happen to have Venus in the same sign, even though they have different Sun Signs (Virgo and Libra). I'm trying to observe common traits or if there IS something about Venus in Leo that draws me to it, specifically, but haven't done well with this, so far.

I'm a Taurus Sun/Scorpio Moon/Gemini Rising/Aries Mercury/Taurus Venus/Capricorn Mars, if that helps.

There's a difference between this aspect and the square and opposition though, in that there seems to be greater reluctance to make the first break. Jealousy - sometimes justified, sometimes not - on one side or another seems to be the primary cause of discord.

MARS-JUPITER

With the conjunction of Mars and Jupiter, you have an abundance of energy and enthusiasm to take on tasks that would frighten all but the most courageous. MARS-URANUS

You prefer to retain as much independence as possible; and you are not one to bow to any authority. Basically, you are anti-establishment, a natural rebel, an anarchist. You see your own will and desires as paramount, following a purely personal code of beahiour which is determined by a self-centred perspective on life. Your search for excitement is mainly in terms of physically based action, which can be through competitive sports, or in sexual conquests. MARS-NEPTUNE

This conjunction can pose several difficulties: in choice of actions, where you may struggle to establish what your real aims are; in making that final decision to attempt to achieve them, and in ensuring that suffiecient and persistent effort is then made to guarantee success. An unintegrated Nepune can dissolve that focused will, making decisive clarity difficult to maintain. Additionaly, you tend to avoid accepting the consequences of your choices, and there can be a refusal to acknowledge responsibility when such actions lead to failure or negative results.

Part of this derives from lack of prior consideration nad a willingness to sometimes jump into action on impulse alone; yet this is often used as a spur to be decisive. 'I didn't know it would turn out like that...' is used as a defensive excuse, and is probably true because possible repercussions were not evaluated. Yet continuing with such an approach is essentially avoiding personal responsability. You may realise eventually that most actions you take on impulse go awry in some respect, rarely fulfilling your initial intention.

This issue related to choice and action is one which needs clarification and resolving. You may find that it is beneficial to pause before acting on impulse, and sensible to slow down and take time to consider the likely results of your decision. This may then show you alternative routes to take, or may even dissuade you from taking action at all. As Mars will influence you to be more dynamically assertive, you need to take into account your effects on other people too, especially any family and those closest to you. This may then modify your more self-centred tendencies and ensure that through insensitivity you do not then create unnecessary pain for anyone.

You can be quite attractive to others, as the Mars-Neptune energies combine to create a potentially dynamic glamour, yet this apparent combination of action and sensitivity can often be superficial when the Mars characteristics are dominating the more subtle Neptune ones, which is more often the situation. Neptunian qualities come through disguised as a flexibility of personality, a set of masks and images that you almost automatically assume in your relations with people and in social or work environments. You recognise that these lead to some inner confusion, especially in respect of decision-making; but they are also usable for self-projection. Steps can be taken to improve matters though. Feeling able to release your blocked imagination into daily life is important, because whilst initially such a move may be glamorous and ineffective, you can learn to direct it towards deliberate intentions, and so use it as a powerful energy to achieve your aims. Techniques of creative visualisation are recommended to take advantage of this process of mental imagination, and can help to re-create your life. Future planning can help you to gain greater control too, so that there is less opportunity for something unconsidered to destroy your intention. And working hard to actually achieve viable skills is another way of helping yourself; if you do not do this, that unintegrated Neptune will serve only to dissolve those dreams instead of helping to fulfil them.

In intimate relationships, more awareness will probably be needed. A combination of impulsive Mars and the self-deluding tendency of Neptune may conspire to show you the pain of disappointing illusions in love. This aspect should give you considerable physical energy and vitality which you can apply to tasks requiring persistence, determination and endurance. You are able to direct a potent will towards realising your aims; and your innate vitality when rightly directed will be the means by which you steer your life course.

The energy can tend to amplify any self-centred tendencies in you, stimulating your desire nature and setting goals to achieve which would be primarily for your own personal benefit and satisfaction. You may like to create challenges for yourself, as a test for the efficacy of your 'powers'. If this tendency is allowed to dictate life choices, then you may become dominated by an insatiable desire compulsion, which is rarely fulfilled; this can reflect a certain naivety or innocence in your outlook which is essentially selfish and adolescent in quality; and the 'I want' syndrome may need more consicous moderation in order for you to regain control.

Often you will prefer to assert your individuality, sometimes even as a compulsive expression despite the reactions of others. You may not always think things through enough, or consider the possible implications of your actions and words prior to committing yourself. This can obviously create some difficulties for you; it is similar to the behaviour of an adolescent, which as most parents discover can lead to considerable family friction.

THE EEEPC

The EEEPC is a small subnotebook from Asus, a revolutionary machine. Asus did not know what was doing and now it is too late: the kids took over. It was like giving the keys of the car to your toddler, alright? Well I am one (the key & toddler) so my own EEEPCs had to deal with the impact. This you don't learn from a Jedi.

Yes you can. You will probably crash it, press F91, have sleepless nights but it has not as yet been reported that the EEEPC can not do it. Do what? It can play it all, Sun, Mac, Windows, and as we shall see, DOS. Why is that needed? It is not! Why did you need that one? Well that girl was... somehow different, was she? Yes. So do we.

STORAGE

There are tricks and tips and hacks in order to gain extra storage, but generally speaking, the normal user (yes welcome) will have to come with little space. Wine will take 50 Mb only and resolve most nostalgia, even run Windows 95 (and worse). So you can keep Xandros as basic OS and nevertheless run any MS Windows program under Wine. Apart from occasional Font issues we met no problem. Fonts can be downloaded from repositories (still working on that one). Back to storage issues. We had none. Extra gigabytes are provided by SD and USB peripherals and this works fine or should work fine for a normal user. Since we did much damage it was kind of exciting to get to know the EEEPC as crush psychoanalyst.

SURPRISE!

Your local Jedi will view all this stuff with suspicion, even scorn. Was it possible that there are programs that show the real positions of them natal planets under one's nose? People spend lifetimes working with programs that in fact do yield true natal positions but they use the asinine section instead, happy to be like the rest, clapping their 12 hands.

REAL POSITION OF YOUR NATAL PLANETS

Is it possible to know the real positions of your natal planets? EEEPC comes with an inbuilt program that shows the real positions of the planets. You can even implement your favorite comets and dwarf planets thus galax2 in Cygnus or ascendant Serpens Cauda (U.S.A.), ascendant Canis Minor (Bush)

NASA

Kermit and telnet have to be installed separately.

$ sudo apt-get install telnet

If that fails give a check to the repositories. Reps and distro are part of the lingo. Ftp is incorporated but we installed one just the same. Wget is standard. That is about all you will ever need to have NASA on your desktop3.

TELESCOPE SUPPORT

The inbuilt program has telescope support. There are numbers of programs that have it.
Basically one can have a telescope in one's own knapsack and mount that mound. As the EEPC is a wireless4 and it also has excellent voice command; one can work in the dark. The EEPC is not a Badger5 but will land nicely. Outer screens, USB, SD, mouse and keyboard are options. Do not upgrade the desktop and keep it running smooth. The EEPC has three USB ports that sometimes puzzle the user but generally work well, just give the a try. For best performance do not upgrade desktop or anything and keep the same USB sticks attached to the same ports6.

NORMAL ASTROLOGY

Is it possible to perform quality with normal astrological programs? Scores of programs have a planetarium inbuilt. We plan to install Solar Fire for the firs time in order to check for planetarium. Ed Falis has a programs for primary direction. We have successfully implemented Juan Antonio Revilla's DOS program. The dark planets, 17 hypothetical, planet pure nostalgia, are running on DOS, Mars is conjunct Olympus at this time. LILIT VERA does not have an implementation, would need some extra programming.

DOS

Is it possible to know your true natal positions even fro DOS? The zodiacal reformation was made on a 3 MB machine with 20 MB disk space, thus it is possible. You can run up to 20 astronomic simulations with DOSSHELL and Dance of the Planets by Arc Software. The state of art zodiac and ascendant set was made on SKYGLOBE, that is on DOS. Thus there is no reason for using bulky programs that display asinine positions of the planets, when you can enjoy true horoscopes via DOS. An good DOS program will display true skies and there are scores of them.

WINDOWS

You will need outer memory in order to run bulky programs but the EEEPC operates even with Windows, XP being standard. Fonts should be no problem. Please do install a bible like Word so that you know the Word of God first and only then the voice of the projected skies and NASA.

DOS FOREVER

It is possible to entirely surf on DOS, using Arachne implementations. These we have not tried yet. Arachne is shipping for Linux, too.

ALL SET UP

Now you are all set up. You have the Word of God on your desktop, starry skies, telescope, your own vista, eye witnesses and reality rendering in your pocket. The real fun may begin! You had none from your local Jedi.

Astrologers used to walk the graveyard in search for interesting death data, calculate directions by heart and decide, yea that was a heart stroke at age 47, amazing. Nowadays even with a cemetery implementation for the EEEPC you do not find such geniuses, and yet such people did not even cvlai to be astrologers. They never had an ephemeris at all! Precisely because they did not have any ephemeris, they relied on calculus: once absorbed, they would calculate every possible synastry on first meeting. I know some of them as living proof. Their knowledge (hobby!) is taken as nothing special.

I'm a mars in scorpio dating a venus in scorpio. The sex is good, but I often obsess over his ex who has a venus and mars in aries. I wonder if their sex was better than ours, (mars in aries with venus in scorpio is supposed to be hot) but then again my mars conjunction with his venus is supposed to be the ultimate passion factor. And both my sun and moon conjuncts his moon in aries, which is a soulmate factor? My double aries inflicts a deep jealousy within me that causes me to have a love/hate relationship with him. His sun is in libra so I'm also not sure if this opposition is good. Any comments on any of the above is appreciated. :))

I've recently wanted Capricorn because of my Virgo signs, yet, they hate leo drama!! At the same time I like someone that is grounded and cardinal at the same time, instead of an emotional water, chatty air type, or active fire... My signs seem pretty well balanced, but I run into drama (. What does my chart say about me and what I really need?

My parents were Taurus and Virgo, they always seemed to suffocate me and never communicated well with me... Yet, a guy with Sun Capricorn and Moon Aries ~ December 31st, 1984 ~ was fun to talk to (and has no romantic interest in me!). I thought that since my moon was the same as his venus being Aquarius and his Mars was my ex's Sun Pisces, along with his moon and my sun being fire, but he just had no interest in me...

I have my venus in cancer with mars in scorpio. I'm trying to get back into the dating scene. Is there anything i should keep in mind concerning this aspect of my chart? Im also a cancer sun sign gemini moon and pisces rising.

Venus Mars Oppositions in Natal Charts

I'm looking to collect more data about this aspect: the Venus/Mars opposition in the natal chart. I'm a professional astrologer, and aside from the fact that myself and my partner BOTH have this aspect in our charts, I'm interested in learning how it shows up for other folks in their lives. My Venus is at 1 deg. Gem, Mars at 1 deg. Sag. My boyfriend's is Venus 4 deg Aqu, Mars 5 deg. Leo (our oppositions trine each other, making for some very nice and consistent chemistry, thank you very much!). Anyway, I'm trying to understand what this aspect means for me, and this seems like the perfect tribe to put it out to. I welcome any thoughts on this...

Which Venus/Mars aspects between charts making the best most lasting bonds?

Hi !

While I know a bit about relationship astrology, I'm not sure which are the the most desirable venus mars aspects between
two people's charts. I have heard venus conjunct mars alot, but what are the others ?

My Venus is in 7 degrees Virgo in my 3rd house, and my Mars is in 29 degrees Gemini in my 12th house.. any thoughts on which
venus/mars combos get along best with mine? Thanks for any insight you have to offer!

I've not seen this aspect shape before, esp. with Venus/Mars so centrally involved...

My chart has the following:

->Mars in Aquarius 5 deg left of the nadir
->Venus in Aquarius 7 deg right of the nadir
->Uranus in Leo conjunct the MC, opposing both
->Capricorn Saturn and PIsces Mercury forming a yod with Uranus

The mandala shape formed looks like a bow with the arrows of Mars/Venus stretched tight, pointing at Uranus, their dispositor.

I've been pondering this shape and what it means to me for many years...wrt Mars and Venus, it's as though when my heart completely heals, the arrow will be shot and then...????

chemistry of love

when it comes to the chemistry of love, I think those are the main points to consider astrologically, i figured out (from the most important, to the least) (i am not an astrologer but these are my past experiences)

1) male's mars and female's venus must be compatible (match if possible)
2) female's mars and male's venus must be compatible (match if possible). but this puts the female into the whole area of action. e.g. the female would be the one who first proposes or who first falls in love. that is male runs, female catches.
3) ascendants must be compatible. Actually it is said that people with opposing ascendants are born to marry each other. because then they give their life struggle in completely different areas of life, and share roles perfectly, no serious discussion between them happens, no matter what the subject is.
4) sun signs must be compatible.
5) jupiters must be the same if u also want to be friends, not only lovers.

As you see sun sign is not the most important thing when it comes to dating.
so dont worry if a person u are attracted to is born on an uncompatible sign. Your Mars-Venus combination is the most significant thing.

No Aspect Between Venus and Mars

Anyone else have this?

Mine sucks! Venus in 12th (love of solitude) at 0 Libra (critical degree) and Mars in 6th (service) at 16 Pisces. Mars is a singleton. Saturn in Sag and Uranus in Leo are both sextile Venus at least. Relationships are short and unsatisfactory.

Any help for this sorry arrangement? Maybe transits to my Venus-Mars midpoint in Sag? (Pluto has already gone over it with no result!)

There is also a mythological association between this mushroom and the celestial planet Venus, a planet holy to Egyptians and Maya alike, a planet whose orbital path is in reverse compared to all others in our solar system, and who’s orbital plain is almost perpendicular to the rest. A planet, which appears in the morning and the evening as the brightest star in the sky, and was once thought to be two different celestial bodies. When appearing in the morning the Greeks called it “Phosphorus”. Psilocybin is the only psychedelic chemical containing a “Phosphorus” atom in its molecule. Phosphorous is the Greek word for “Morning Star”, or Venus rising in the morning, as it was called Hesperus in the evening. In Isaiah 14:12, the prophet seems to refer to Lucifer as “The Morning Star” The name Lucifer means “The Light Bringer” or “Light Bearer”. Emmanuel Velicovski in his book “Worlds in Collision” presents evidence that Venus (The Morning Star) is a foreign body to our solar system, appearing only 4200 years ago and that there is no record of its existence before that time. He says that it collided with the earth, causing a global cataclysm. Some of his evidence is very compelling, and recounted by Zechariah Sitchen’s research of ancient Sumerian Tablets regarding creation.

And then of course Christ himself claims to be The Morning Star.
Christ said; “To him that overcometh I shall give the Morning Star” -(Rev. 2:28)
“I am the root and offspring of David, The Bright And Shining Morning Star” -(Rev. 22:16).
All these parts of the Bible were written in Greek, there is a linguistic-cryptology here, which when decoded should reveal even more about the connection between Psilocybin and Venus, the rebel planet [asteroid ?], and help people to understand that Psilocybin has always been, and always will be the holy sacrament worldwide.
Christ said; “To him that overcometh I will give the hidden Manna” -(Rev 2:17).
Here Christ seems to be referring to Manna as the reward associated with the key to eternal life, which is given to those who overcome the deception of this world.

Just how important....

Just how important are Venus and Mars to a relationship?

I had a wonderful Venus/Mars relationship with my ex-wife...My venus in Leo trine her mars in Aries, my mars in Gemini sextile her venus in Aries. (And yes, she had Venus conjunct Mars!)

The sex was always great. Even at the very end of the relationship.

But her Mercury in Pisces opposes my Saturn in Virgo, squaring my Sun in Gemini. That was such a major problem that the Venus and Mars couldn't hold us together.

And what are the best aspects for Venus and Mars to hold a couple together? Conjunctions?

If you read it in a reverse order (that is from Pisces to Aries), the argumant seems to be about the most important thing in the world.

Leo: I am superior than you. I will be the first!
Virgo: First our responsibilities.
Libra: Both of us.
Scorpio: Truth.

T - square: Venus, Mars, Neptune

hi everybody,
i am new to this tribe and i would like to start out a new discussion regarding Venus and Mars aspects.

What is this T - square in my chart? Venus @ 2* Gemini 3rd , Neptune (ruling planet) @ 6* Sagittarius 9th , Mars @ 4* Pisces 12th (in Conjunction with Ascendant).

Also Venus is especially important for me as i have Sun and Mercury in Taurus, and Moon Conj Uranus in Libra, and Pluto in Libra. (and that makes 5 planets in Venus ruled signs) But so is Neptune. I dont know about Mars.

does anybody have a T - square like me? what are my talents? where are my incapabilities? to which channels must i let my energies flow?

i can easily be a dedicated person as i have sun in Taurus in 2nd. but i dont want to stick to any kind of dogma as i have Ascendant Conj Mars in Pisces.

my birth info is as follows:

(in astro.com, my Ascendant turned out to be in Aries. but dont bother, my Ascendant is in Pisces, believe me. It must be the local time or summer time problem).

My Mars and Venus are in a pretty wide square aspect (Mars 17 degrees Pisces [of course I'm a gay male] and Venus 22 degrees Gemini.

MY BF also has a pretty wide Mars/Venus square: Venus 23 Scorpio / Mars 19 Leo. So both his Mars and Venus aspect mine (I hadn't thought about it until I typed this out) both with "positive aspects as well as negative ones (inconjuncts)

He's really hot in bed.

I'm a Taurus w/ Venus in Cancer 6° 51' 40 3rd house direct
Mars in Libra 15° 39' 11 6th house - retrograde

Also I noticed @ the time I was born I had 5 planets retrograding.
Never been to clear on retrograde planets @ the time of birth..
The retrograding planets: Uranus in Virgo, Neptune in Scorpio, Pluto in Virgo

would love to get feed back on this as well..... trying to get some 'astrological sense" of the direction my life has been and will be going.
This will be a guide to go along with my own Tarot readings..

Astrological Update for end May, June 2006
Soli-Lunar Astrology for Gemini New Moon

In this column, we follow the transits of the planets beginning with the New Moon.
There are 13 or 14 New Moons in a year, not 12, so there will be the same number of these columns as we follow a soul based, feeling oriented, and more natural calendar regarding our earthly cycles (not oriented toward the archaic and awkward calendar that has confused things since the Romans imposed it on this world long ago).

Transits for 5/26-6/25

We begin with a New Moon in Gemini, which is the sign of communication, education, people, and ideas. It’s also a sign of contradiction, so we can expect contradictory behaviors, decisions, and communications in the coming month. Mercury will be in Gemini (but not conjunct Sun or Moon) and it will also square Uranus. This implies the potential for unpredictable scattering of energy that is akin to herding cats, and plans that are made during this time will be highly idealist and innovative, but fluffy in outcome and perhaps bearing little fruit. In my last column, I mentioned the powerful potential for profound change that would move thru during mid-May. So, if you didn’t initiate during that time, it may become harder to focus and carry thru at this time (especially if strong in Virgo or Pisces, i.e., Sun. Moon. Rising). If you were born under the Gemini influence (or other air signs) this flutter-by energy could seem like a breath of fresh summer air, full of ideas and potential, and some of us thrive on that! There is not much support for the earth signs here, at least until Venus enters Taurus on May 30th, then a greater commitment and beauty can ensue. In fact, as this lunation describes so much variety, a survey of all of our greatest hits and some of our fears will be passing in front of our eyes for us to let go of or address. But Venus in Taurus in combination with this "diffuse cornucopia" can give direction thru social life, pleasures, and beauty. Take advantage of this early and often.
As this month is such a mixed bag of aspects with little focus early on, the expression and energy will be different for each individual, and hard to describe in a comprehensive manner that will ring true for us all. There are a few coalescing aspects coming up in June that are decisive and describable. As Venus transits thru Taurus 5/30-6/24, it moves into alignment with Jupiter and Saturn (conjunct) Mars, forming a T square, which is usually stressful for most. Jupiter is retrograde in Scorpio having to do with an abundance of transformation, emotion, and strong life passages. This journey of Jupiter's is year long. Saturn in Leo has the potentially confusing contradiction of serious commitment and fun and sometimes can constrict the joy of this sign. Mars joins Saturn in Leo on 6/2, and these are in conjunction or similar position in the middle of the month. This can be excellent for providing motivation and drive toward pleasure, love, and identifying your own desires in order to take action.
While this can be a positive force toward accomplishment, Venus and Jupiter both pull on this, along with the Moon at various points, as well as Neptune later in July. Since Jupiter has to do with abundance and Venus with pleasure, beauty, finance, it is easy to go overboard, over-indulge, over spend, or scatter energy thru either determination or indulgence. For those who don’t desire drama in their personal lives, I advise a more conservative approach without fixed expectations. To the rest of us, the contradictions found in the fixed polarity of this time will certainly gives us a lot to be dramatic about. Certainly, do not try to stop the mountain from moving, the flood from occurring, or your lover from leaving thru sheer determination as this is where the conflict arises. For those of us who enjoy the Chinese paradigm of “may be good, May be bad” choices and results, we can have the times of our lives. Beyond this, the effects will be very individualized with lots of stories to unfold. May we live in interesting times!
The retrograde of Jupiter will slow to a stop July, so whatever is undone in June is redone and integrated in the hot summer sun.
The dust settles only after the Summer Solstice (Wed. 6/21 5:46 am pdt), which is also the last few days of the Moon cycle. This implies introversion and souls searching 6/21-5 even as the summer sun is stimulating in joyful communion- again in contrast. In fact, the solstice day is one in which the Moon aligns again into a T-square with Jupiter and Saturn. Many of the emotional aspects brought up by the cacophony of contradictory planetary voices will be resolved during the next lunation, so stay tuned.
Also of note is the retrograde of Uranus and Neptune. Retrogrades are the apparent backward motions of planets as seen from Earth. The outer planets do this for 5 months out of the year, and stationary or not moving for a few weeks on either side of that. The stationary times are more significant than the retrogrades are, as a laser beam is to light.
Neptune begins its yearly retrograde 5/23,implying more of what was stated at the beginning of this column regarding great ideas dissolving into committees, discussion groups, and frustrating action. Similarly, Uranus retrograde beginning 6/19 could dissolve and diffuse the group vision into many diverse and divergent pathways. For some, this can also provided serendipitous openings. These are not dire aspects, but they do have the potential for “following thru with the plan”, whatever it was.
Speaking of diffusion, there are endless aspects to describe for the coming month, but again each individual will experience them differently. Clear intention helps.

wondering if anyone has got Venus Mars in yod formation- Ive Mars Aries 8th /Venus Gemini 10th, making the yod point Neptune scorp 3rd incidentaly the only planet in the southern hemisphere.
im invoved in the arts Venus 10- studied the occult for years Mars 8th, but find it hard to cross pollinate these studies, i switch from one to the other, when i realy want to meld them into one, it also feels crucial that i do so.
The yod represents vocation- its known as the finger of god.
